Heritage Quilts Retreat facility is a historic building of Downtown Pinedale. A half century ago the individual rooms were the main office complex for several government entities, Today the only reminder of its past are the original doors to every room, and the large skylight in the hallway.

We provide Bell Hop service to carry your luggage and sewing or craft supplies upstairs.

The only thing you need to do is relax and enjoy the serenity of our little town. Let the beauty of the Wind River Mountains inspire you.

Open Retreats are planned throughout the year, but if you and your friends would like to take a special sewing/craft vacation, we’d be happy to arrange your private get away just for you.

The Fabric Shoppe

It is believed that Heritage Quilts & Fabric Shoppe has one of the largest selections of Hand dye & Batik fabrics in the region. We also pride ourselves on having a tremendous collection of western, wildlife and lodge fabrics in both cotton and flannel. With over 3000 bolts to choose from, we’re sure you’ll find the inspiration for that new project.

We carry an extensive selection of Husqvarna Viking sewing, quilting, and serger machines in our Shoppe. You can try one out during your retreat if you like!!!

Come shop in your PJ’s —-Relax and make yourselves at home! We’ll even open up the Fabric Shoppe for you & your friends on Sunday.

The Studio

To accommodate your sewing needs the studio has 10 custom designed stable sewing stations with comfy chairs, a design wall, 4 cutting stations with mats and 2 complete ironing stations. Spacious and well-lit.

Deposit

A cleaning fee of $150.00 is required prior to check-in. Assuming the facility is left as you found it (not counting the linens, of course), the cleaning fee will be refunded. However, if you are having so much fun sewing, and would rather not bother with the dishes and vacuuming, leave the cleaning to us and simply walk away from it all. We don’t mind—-Really

At the HQFS Retreat you can quilt, scrapbook, or just come and have some fun. Three full days and two nights for only $650.00 That’s only $65.00 per person for three days! (+ tax based on ten person occupancy)

Daily rates are offered which makes the retreat facility a perfect place to host wedding parties, family gatherings or meetings.

Food Service

The kitchen has everything you need— you provide the food. If you choose not to do the cooking, there are six restaurants within easy walking distance, and some will even cater. We’ll be happy to assist you in finding what ever you desire. We can even arrange for in house massages.

Classes

A skilled instructor is available for most dates. Classes include a “designer bag”, beginning quilting, an intriguing custom designed mystery quilt, paper piecing and more– e-mail or call for further information.

Summertime Table Runner

Designer Shelley Robson's quick stitch-and-flip method uses lots of different red fabrics across this mouthwatering table runner. Just place one strip on top of another, stitch, and continue adding more strips until the layers are covered. Add seeds and borders and you're ready to set the table.
