The Fabric Shoppe

It is believed that Heritage Quilts & Fabric Shoppe has one of the largest selections of Hand dye & Batik fabrics in the region. We also pride ourselves on having a tremendous collection of western, wildlife and lodge fabrics in both cotton and flannel. With over 5000 bolts to choose from, we’re sure you’ll find the inspiration for that new project.
We carry an extensive selection of Husqvarna Viking sewing, quilting, and serger machines in our Shoppe. You can try one out during your retreat if you like!!!
Come shop in your PJ’s —-Relax and make yourselves at home! We’ll even open up the Fabric Shoppe for you & your friends on Sunday. Also a 10% discount in the shop as well.

The Studio

To accommodate your sewing needs the studio has 10 custom designed stable sewing stations with comfy chairs, a design wall, 4 cutting stations with mats and 2 complete ironing stations.  Spacious and well-lit.

Rooms

Two bedrooms have three twin beds with top of the line Serta mattresses for optimum comfort, the other two rooms have one twin and one queen bed in them.
Each spacious room has it’s own theme and sitting area with TV’s and DVD players for more relaxation. With one full bath, and two 1/2 baths.

Food Service

The kitchen has everything you need— you provide the food. If you choose not to do the cooking, there are six restaurants within easy walking distance, and some will even cater. We’ll be happy to assist you in finding what ever you desire.  We can even arrange for in house massage.

Classes

A skilled instructor is available for most dates.  Classes include a “designer bag”, beginning quilting, an intriguing custom designed mystery quilt, paper piecing and more– e-mail or call for further information. Also all the classes listed on Classes Page.

FAQ

Do we need to bring linens and/or towels?
No, we will provide the linens and towels for your stay.

Do we need to bring any kitchen utensils?
We provide a fully equipped kitchen for all cooking and eating needs. A crockpot and coffee makers are among items provided.

What items are provided in the sewing area?
There are two ironing stations with two cutting areas. We also have two design boards to lay out your projects. We have 10 sewing areas.

Are there restaurants and grocery stores nearby?
There are several nice restaurants next to the shop, along with a neighborhood grocery store within a couple of blocks from the retreat.
